DescriptionGet Crazy by Peter Lloyd (Rosebud, 1983). Very Fine/Near Mint. Original Mixed Media Preliminary Artwork on Illustration Board (20" X 24").
Director Allan Arkush takes the madcap comedic stylings of Airplane and transplants all the mania into the setting of a down-on-its-luck concert hall, with much of the shenanigans fueled by the magical purveyor of illicit substances, Electric Larry. The pharmaceutical phantasm is portrayed here in this exceptional concept piece by artist Peter Lloyd, bearing a resemblance in composition to the poster's final design. There are few flaws to be seen on this mind-blowing piece, save for a few small corner bumps and faint border smudges, which may be from production. The artwork has an acetate and paper cover sheet attached to the board to protect it from wear. Very Fine/Near Mint.
Estimate: $500 - $1,000.
