DescriptionGet Carter (MGM-EMI, 1971). Folded, Very Fine+. British Quad (30" X 40") Arnoldo Putzu Artwork. From the Mike Kaplan Collection.
Writer-Director Mike Hodges wanted violence with reality, which he delivers here with real punch. This film is a hard-as-nails British crime movie, based on the novel Jack's Return Home by Ted Lewis. The movie features a standout, absolutely brutal performance by Michael Caine that stands as one of his best. Offered here is perhaps the best poster from the film, the British quad with art by Arnaldo Putzu. In great condition, this country-of-origin poster shows only handling creases, light edge wear, a pinhole, and a few faint smudges.
Estimate: $3,000 - $6,000.
