    Gentlemen Prefer Blondes (20th Century Fox, 1953). One Sheet (27" X 41").
Marilyn Monroe and Jane Russell were at the peak of their popularity when Howard Hawks cast them in this spectacular musical comedy based on a Broadway show. As two Cabaret performers and best friends, the girls are faced with that old question, "Is it better to marry for money or love?" That answer gets resolved in the most comedic ways and propelled the film into one of the most successful musicals ever made. This poster is equally spectacular as the Hollywood stars are captured in their cabaret showgirl costumes. There was a slight paper abrasion just under the "R" in Russell's name that has been corrected. Other than some slight tape residue on the verso in the upper corners (apparently from having been placed in a frame at one time), the poster is very clean. Very Fine+.
