    Description

    Gaslight (MGM, 1944). Fine/Very Fine on Linen. One Sheet (27" X 41").
Ingrid Bergman stars as a woman driven almost to the point of insanity by her husband (Charles Boyer) before his plot to destroy her is uncovered. George Cukor directed Bergman to the first of her three Oscar wins in this film noir thriller. Joseph Cotten is a sympathetic Scotland Yard detective and Angela Lansbury, in her film debut, acts as a flirtatious maid. Professional restoration has addressed fold ewer and separations, creases, and pinholes. There were moderate tears into the interior, and the poster had small chips in the borders and folds. The linen has been trimmed to the border, but not into this fabulous poster. Fine/Very Fine on Linen.

    Estimate: $500 - $1,000.
