Description

Frankenstein Meets the Wolf Man (Universal, 1943). Lobby Card (11" X 14") Karl Goodwin Border Artwork.
One of the greatest team-up films of all time, this classic horror feature brought together two of Universal's most popular monsters, the Frankenstein Monster and the Wolf Man, with Lon Chaney Jr. reprising his most famous role. Here we see Bela Lugosi taking his only turn as the mad doctor's Creature, accompanied by great profile shots of Chaney and Maria Ouspenskaya. The card shows slightly rounded corners, light edge wear, creases, and several pinholes in the borders and background. There are some small bits of surface paper loss in the lower border and upper background, and the image area has soft surface scuffing. The verso has a partial ad mat sheet attached with adhesive, as well as some paper tape. Border artwork by Karl Godwin. Fine/Very Fine.

    Estimate: $1,000 - $2,000.
