    Description

The Truth (Columbia, 1960). Rolled, Very Fine+. Full Bleed German A0 (33" X 46") Bruno Rehak Artwork.
In one of her most acclaimed dramatic roles, Brigitte Bardot stars as the unstable defendant in a controversial murder trial in a courtroom drama. Sami Frey acts as her victim and lover, while lawyers Charles Vanel and Paul Meurisse argue over her motive. Was it a cold and calculated killing, punishable by death, instead of a crime of passion? Despite many issues and emergencies among the cast during production, Henri-Georges Clouzot's thrilling drama rose above the high box office expectations, becoming a smash hit in France and earning itself an Academy Award nomination. This moody German poster features stunning artwork by Bruno Rehak and is unrestored with bright color and a clean overall appearance. The poster has subtle edge wear and a couple of creases or small tears within the borders. There is a small strip of cellophane tape on the verso bracing a minor tear in the lower left border.
