DescriptionThe Bride Wore Black (CWF, 1969). Rolled, Very Fine-. Polish One Sheet (22.5" X 32") Franciszek Starowieyski Artwork.
François Truffaut pays homage to his favorite director, Alfred Hitchcock, with this biting tale of revenge. Based on a novel by Cornell Woolrich, who also wrote the story on which Rear Window was based, Jeanne Moreau stars as a young widow out to kill the five men who killed her husband. The haunting imagery is by artist Franciszek Starowieyski. Minor signs of wear include toning and slight handling wear including a crease in the upper portion of the poster through the woman's head.
Estimate: $300 - $600.
