    Description

La Dolce Vita (Cineriz, 1960). Fine- on Linen. Italian 4 - Fogli (54.75" X 78") Giorgio Olivetti Artwork.
Marcello Mastrioanni plays a gossip columnist living in Rome in Federico Fellini's acclaimed film. Mastrionni makes his way through the city's decadent goings-on, at first looking for some meaning but in the end, deciding to just enjoy living. Co-starring Anita Ekberg, Anouk Aimée, and Yvonne Furneaux. A huge worldwide success, La Dolce Vita won several awards, including a New York Film Critics CIrcle award for Best Foreign Film and the Palme d'Or at the Cannes Film Festival. Skillfully restored, this country of origin poster had such signs of use as fold wear and separations, pinholes, and chips in the folds. There were some noticeable tears extending into the interior, including a tear from the lower right corner into the credits at the bottom of the center vertical fold. The poster's borders were once partially trimmed by 1" at the lower edge and by 2" - 3" in the top and side borders. These trimmed portions have since been replaced and airbrushed, rendering the previous trim unnoticeable.
