Forbidden Planet (MGM, 1956). Title Lobby Card (11" X 14"). Robby the Robot starred in this full color spectacular from MGM about a professor and his daughter who are stranded on a planet while studying an extinct race called the Krell. What set this film apart from so many of the other science fiction pictures of the 1950s was the superior script, the high-quality production, and the flawless special effects! The title lobby card is one of the few from the 1950s that actually delivered on its promises! It has slight corner bumps, a couple of light wrinkles, and one small edge tear in the bottom border. The magnificent artwork depicting Robby and Anne Francis is featured, along with a small shot of Leslie Nielsen. Very Fine+.
