Forbidden Planet (MGM, 1956). Fine/Very Fine on Paper. Half Sheet (22" X 28") Style B.
This poster does not exaggerate! It is truly "Amazing" as it depicts the mighty Robby the Robot protecting Anne Francis from the monster from the Id. It was truly a unique monster since it had no form and only materialized through the technology of the Krell. Posters for this title have always been among the most popular of the 1950s sci-fi genre due to its impressive Robot graphics. Professional restoration has addressed edge and fold wear, mild fold separations, pinholes, and a few chips in the borders. There were some tape stains in the borders, as well as moderate tears at the edges, including one at the top border that extended into Robby's head. Fine/Very Fine on Paper.

    Estimate: $2,000 - $4,000.
