DescriptionFor the Defense & Other Lot (Paramount, 1930). Very Fine-. Lobby Cards (2) (11" X 14").
For the Defense was the third collaboration between producer David O. Selznick, William Powell, and Kay Francis. The onscreen chemistry between the two stars was apparent and gave them some of the best roles of their careers. Also included in this lot is a lobby cards for Stolen Holiday (First National, 1937), also starring Kay Francis. General signs of use include mild edge wear, a few creases, and small tears and chips. Both cards have minor paper lifts, Stolen Holiday has small pieces of archival tape on the verso, and For the Defense has a couple of pinholes, including one with a minor bit of touchup.
Estimate: $300 - $600.
