DescriptionFor Me and My Gal (MGM, 1942). Lobby Card Set of 8 (11" X 14").
After deliberately damaging his hand to avoid the draft in World War I, Gene Kelly, starts up a vaudeville act with his partner, Judy Garland. In a bow to patriotism, his guilt forces him to give up selfish pursuits for the good of his country. This was the first adult role for Garland, and the big screen debut for Kelly. It's Heritage's first time to offer a full lobby set for this musical, which shows slight edge wear, mild creases, small tears, and pinholes in the borders and interior. Some of the cards have rounded corners and unobtrusive stains and smudges. A couple have minor paper lifts in the borders, one card has some faint staining and a horizontal crease, and one card has a tear into the lower background with a couple of pieces of cellophane tape that wrap around to the verso. Fine/Very Fine.
Estimate: $600 - $1,200.
