DescriptionFootlight Parade (Warner Brothers, 1933). Window Card (14" X 22").
Presented here is an absolutely stunning window card from the equally spectacular James Cagney musical, Footlight Parade. Upon the arrival of talking pictures, Cagney's Chester Kent comes up with the idea to stage musical prologues for movie theatres. Cagney and fellow actors Joan Blondell, Ruby Keeler and Dick Powell are all present on this festive piece, which utilizes the same gorgeous art as the original one sheet. Professional restored, this card once had mild edge wear with some small border tears, but the interior appears free of wear. The borders have been airbrushed and the imprint area was once trimmed, but has since been skillfully replaced. Fine+.
Estimate: $3,000 - $6,000.
