DescriptionFlight to Mars (Monogram, 1951). Fine/Very Fine on Linen. One Sheet (27" X 41").
After Rocketship X-M, Flight to Mars is the second American film of the postwar era to depict a manned space trip to the Red Planet. Arthur Franz, Cameron Mitchell, and Virginia Huston are the interplanetary travelers who learn of a plot by the Martian leader to conquer Earth. Featuring a fantastic image of a rocket enroute, this one sheet has had touchup applied to the folds, pinholes, surface scratches near the upper border, and a tear that extended from the lower edge into the "C" of "Cinecolor."
Estimate: $600 - $1,200.
