    Description

Fire! Fire! (Sanford Productions, 1922). Folded, Fine/Very Fine. One Sheet (26.75" X 40.75").
With a gag already in the image, this stone litho one sheet for a Marcel Perez comedy is making its debut appearance at Heritage. Often serving as both an actor and a director for his films, the Spanish-born Perez met success in the US for his silent two-reelers, often preforming under pseudonyms like Marcel Fabre, Robinet, Teedledum, and Tweedy. Unfortunately, this picture was one of his last films as an actor due to a cancer-related leg amputation in 1923, ending what could have been a promising career far too early. The poster displays mild edge and fold wear, fold separations, soft creases, as well as small tears and chips. Other wear includes dust shadows, unobtrusive stains and smudges, including tape stain bleedthrough. There are a few spots of paint with splices at the top and there are pieces of masking and paper tape on the verso.

    Estimate: $600 - $1,200.
