    Description

    White Heat (Warner Brothers, 1952). Japanese B2 (20.25" X 28.5").
James Cagney had already made a career of playing gangsters in the early 1930s when he decided to return to the genre for one last hurrah. But for this to occur, he had to have a great script (it was nominated for an Oscar) and a great director. Under the guidance of Raoul Walsh, Cagney turned in perhaps his greatest performance as an aging gangster dealing with treachery within his gang and his own mental psychosis. Offered by Heritage for the first time, this Japanese poster showcases an intense image of Cagney set against a raging flame. There are punch holes in the left border, edge wear, paper loss and tears in the upper right edge, a torn lower left corner, a bend in the upper left corner, and creasing. Rolled, Fine+.
