Where the Sidewalk Ends (20th Century Fox, 1950). Fine- on Linen. Three Sheet (41.5" X 79.5") Sergio Gargiulo Artwork.
Dana Andrews portrays a police detective prone to violence who inadvertantly kills a murder suspect. The killing is blamed on a cab driver, whose daughter (played by Gene Tierney) becomes involved with Andrews. Things get complicated as Andrews tries to clear the cabbie without implicating himself in this well-done film noir. Professional conservation has corrected edge and fold wear, mild fold separations, and pinholes, some of which are torn or enlarged. Also repaired were a few tears into the interior, chips in the borders, and paper loss from the right border into the "A" of "Sidewalk." The top and right side borders have been mostly airbrushed. Fine- on Linen.

    Estimate: $1,000 - $2,000.
