    Description

The Two Mrs. Carrolls (Warner Brothers, 1947). Folded, Fine/Very Fine. Italian 2 - Fogli (39.25" X 55") Luigi Martinati Artwork.
The likenesses of Barbara Stanwyck and Humphrey Bogart are nothing less than outstanding on this large format Italian poster, courtesy of artist Luigi Martinati. This psychological thriller features Bogart as an artist who slowly slips into insanity and becomes a serial killer. Stanwyck, as his wife, finds a portrait of herself as "The Angel of Death" and knows she is about to be her husband's next victim. A striking piece, the poster shows edge and fold wear, mild fold separations, slight creases, and small tears. There are some minor chips, pinholes, and mostly unobtrusive stains and smudges. The poster also has pieces of cellophane tape on the verso with mild tape stain bleedthrough. Folded, Fine/Very Fine.

    Estimate: $1,000 - $2,000.
