Description
The Lady From Shanghai (Columbia, 1947). One Sheet (27" X 41").Rita Hayworth seldom looked better than as the sexy "Lady from Shanghai" seductress. That's her "million dollar hairdo" as it was called, with Orson Welles (Hayworth's estranged husband at the time of filming) taking a lot of heat for cutting the flowing red Hayworth tresses and personally choosing the new shade for her bob cut..."Topaz Blond!." Hayworth's legendary costume designer muse, Jean Louis, did not fail her. Jean Louis produced stunning costumes for ten of Hayworth's films, forming one of the most important fashion partnerships in film history. He transformed a shy girl who preferred jeans and a sweater into one of Hollywood's top screen goddesses of glamour. This is one of the top film noir posters of all time and this is an unbacked and beautiful copy! There are only corner pinholes, slight crossfold separation, very light bottom edge wrinkles, and a tiny corner crease. Very Fine+.
