    Description

My Name Is Julia Ross (Columbia, 1945). One Sheet (27" X 41").
This film noir was the first in a series directed by Joseph H. Lewis and is based on the novel The Woman in Red by Anthony Gilbert. Nina Foch, Dame May Whitty, and George Macready star in a twisted psychological melodrama that keeps audiences intrigue for all 64 minutes of the film. Foch, in the ominous presence of a black cat, stares out in desperation from this rare one sheet. The poster has pinholes in the borders and background, edge wear with tears, fold wear and fold separation, creasing along the folds, bleedthrough in the title area from a stamp on the verso, and archival tape on the verso. Fine/Very Fine.
