A gripping noir thriller that tells the story of two doomed lovers drawn together by their shared fascination with guns, it stars John Dall as Bart Tare, a former juvenile delinquent, falls for Annie Laurie Starr (Played by Peggy Cummins), a beautiful and dangerous carnival sharpshooter. Though Bart abhors killing, his devotion to Annie leads him into a life of armed robbery and flight from the law. Directed by Joseph H. Lewis, the film is renowned for its innovative camerawork and emotionally charged performances. One of its most memorable sequences is a bank robbery filmed in a single, uninterrupted take. Renowned by lovers of film noir, it is a legendary thriller. Backed to line, this glorious six sheet has had touch-up to some folds to address wear, some separations and small or minute chips to some of the fold junctions. Additionally, there are some scrapes and scuffs to the surface. The line has been trimmed to the edges of the poster to the upper & lower edges of the poster and with a .5-inch selvage to the left & right. A first time offering from Heritage.
