DescriptionDesert Fury (Paramount, 1947). Very Fine on Linen. Three Sheet (41" X 80.25").
A rarity for the genre, this film noir is in beautiful Technicolor. Lizabeth Scott plays the rebellious daughter of Mary Astor, who tries to keep her on the straight and narrow. Scott gets involved with crooked gambler John Hodiak but Burt Lancaster is there to rescue Scott. Some corrections have been made to light edge and fold wear, mild fold separations, pinholes, and moderate tears. There were a couple of small chips in the lower image and credits, in addition to a gouge in the top right background. A few of these issues are still slightly visible as are unaddressed minute paper lifts in the borders. Very Fine on Linen.
Estimate: $1,000 - $2,000.
