    Description

Dead Reckoning (Columbia, 1947). Very Fine- on Linen. One Sheet (27.5" X 41") Style B.
A stunning tale of love, death, and betrayal, this film is a wonderful vehicle for stars Humphrey Bogart and Lizabeth Scott, both directed by Oliver Cromwell, who is best known for his work on Of Human Bondage. A taut and exciting thriller, this is one of Scott's earliest pictures, for which she received both critical and popular acclaim as the film's sultry femme fatale. Bogart, on the other hand, was already at the peak of his career, having just made The Big Sleep, and was one of Hollywood's most bankable actors. This exceptional style B one sheet, bearing an image befitting a moody film noir such as this, looks excellent after professional corrections to mild edge and fold wear, pinholes, a faint scuff by Lizabeth Scott's credit, and a few minute chips in the left edge. Otherwise, this poster had no other flaws prior to its restoration and is now a stunning piece ready for display.
