    Description

Dark Passage (Warner Brothers, 1947). Very Fine/Near Mint. Window Card (13" X 22").
Humphrey Bogart and Lauren Bacall star in their third film together, playing troubled love interests with a heavy dose of film noir. Bogart is an escaped con who undergoes plastic surgery, and finds himself hiding out in Bacall's place while healing. The first twenty minutes of the film are seen from Bogart's point of view, putting the audience right in the action. There is also the added benefit of not letting us see what Bogart looked like before the surgery. There is a very minor smudge under the title, and very faint foxing at the lower edge. Though the poster measures slightly smaller than traditional window cards, it is not trimmed. Window cards were briefly printed at this size by Warner Brothers in 1947. Very Fine/Near Mint.

    Estimate: $800 - $1,600.
