The Wizard of Oz (MGM, 1939). Half Sheet (22" X 28") Style A.
Time has been powerless to erase the enduring magic of this wonderful film which has delighted generations of children, both young and old, for over six decades. Judy Garland brings to life Dorothy Gale, the child in all of us, who yearns to escape to a perfect place over the rainbow. Along her way to the magical land of Oz, Dorothy encounters a host of unforgettable characters: the clever Scarecrow, the sentimental Tin Man, the Cowardly Lion, witches both good and bad, and the wonderful Wizard of Oz. There were small tears in the borders with a "v" shaped piece of border and slightly into the word "Triumph" in the right side replaced. There was a chip from the upper left corner border and creasing in the upper left image. There were pinholes in the border and background, and some slight color enhancement to areas. Professional restoration has addressed all these issues. Fine+ on Paper.
