The Thief of Bagdad (United Artists, 1946). Fine+ on Linen. First Release Czech Poster (24" X 33.75").
Starring Conrad Veidt, Sabu, June Duprez, John Justin, Rex Ingram, Miles Malleson, Morton Selten, Mary Morris, Bruce Winston, Hay Petrie, Allan Jeayes and Leslie Phillips. Directed by Ludwig Berger, Michael Powell, Tim Whelan, Alexander Korda, Zoltan Korda, William Cameron Menzies. A restored poster with good color and an overall very presentable appearance. It may have tears, slight paper loss, minor stains, and/or some fold separation. Backed to linen, touch-up has addressed a few small splits along some edges as well as wear along the folds. Thanks to these efforts, the poster displays very nicely. This is a first release Czech poster for this British classic.
