The Golem (Paramount, 1920). Lobby Card (11" X 14").
Writer/star/co-director Paul Wegener made this film inspired by the title character. Elaborate sets and shadowy figures create a sense of impending doom, perfect compliments to the storyline about a monster-creating rabbi who seeks to protect his people from persecution. Wegener is the clay figure come to life, seen here on this incredibly rare lobby card. Heritage has offered it only once before, as paper for this landmark German horror film is difficult to find. Light handling includes pinholes in the borders and one in center image area. Very Fine/Near Mint.
