    Description

    The Dark Crystal (Universal, 1982). Fine+. Original Printed Mockup Concept Artworks on Board (2) (18.5" X 23.75" & 18.5" X 26).
    Proposed for what would eventually become The Dark Crystal's advance one sheet, these mockups are comprised of printed illustrations that have attached acetate overlays with the printed poster text. General issues found on these original artworks include surface scuffs, scratches, smudging, and stains. The edges of the overlays and the boards have masking tape strips and remnants, and the boards also have adhesive staining and surface paper loss, though these issues are all most likely from the production process. The title text has come loose from the artwork with the black background, but it is still included.
