DescriptionOne Million B.C. (United Artists, 1940). Fine/Very Fine on Linen. One Sheet (27" X 41").
Starring Victor Mature as a caveman in love with a cavewoman (Carole Landis) of a neighboring tribe, One Million B.C. is a fun prehistoric fantasy about romance within a clash of cultures. The film looks great for its era, being nominated for its special effects at the 13th Academy Awards, and the poster offered here relies on the star power of its images of Mature and Landis. Prior to restoration, the poster displayed edge and fold wear, creases, tears, and small chips including chips in the title and in the image of Mature's face. Touchup has been applied to many of these issues, though some are still slightly visible. Also visible are a few minor scuffs, smudges, and stains.
Estimate: $1,500 - $3,000.
