Frank Capra's wonderful fantasy film, winner of two Academy Awards, is well represented by this magnificent one sheet with art by renowned illustrator James Montgomery Flagg. After a plane crash in the Himalayas, Ronald Colman and his fellow passengers are rescued by a mysterious group of sherpas and taken to the legendary land of Shangri-la. There he meets the beautiful Jane Wyatt and the ancient High Lama, portrayed by Sam Jaffe. Posters for this classic film rarely turn up, so here is an opportunity to acquire this highly sought after piece. Prior to the expert restoration, the poster showed fold wear, a chip in the bottom and top border, and in the "H" of "Horizon." The professional restoration has given this poster a very pleasing appearance. Fine/Very Fine on Linen.
