It's a Wonderful Life (RKO, 1947). Folded, Very Fine-. Full-Bleed Australian Daybill (12.75" X 30").James Stewart is the perfect Everyman in Frank Capra's bittersweet classic about the life a man leads, and the consequences of his actions. Despite having a beautiful wife (Donna Reed) and a house full of children, small-town family man George Bailey (Stewart) can't seem to catch a break in life. A classic now, the film was initially a box office disaster, taking in only $3.3 million against a cost of $3.7 million. It wasn't until the picture became a regular TV staple during the holidays that it finally earned its much deserved recognition and admiration. Collectors will certainly not want to let this cheer-filled Australian daybill pass them by! The poster has light edge and fold wear, a few horizontal creases, unobtrusive stains, and a nick in the top border. There are some thin paper remnants with some surface rippling at the top where a snipe may have been removed. Folded, Very Fine-.
