Death Takes a Holiday (Paramount, 1934). Lobby Card (11" X 14"). The grim reaper himself decides to take on human form and spend some time amongst mortals to discover why they fear him. He vacations for a few days as the house guest of Duke Lambert. During this time, despite disasters and accidents, no one dies anywhere on earth. March falls in love with Grazia (Evelyn Venable), who in turn falls for him and decides to sacrifice her own humanity for love. This exquisite lobby card is best described as elegant. One of two of the best cards from the seldom seen set. This is a true treasure. Very Fine/Near Mint.
