Bambi (RKO, 1942). Fine on Linen. British Quad (30" X 40"). This British poster promotes Bambi, Walt Disney's groundbreaking multiplane Technicolor feature, and features charming illustrated imagery of the film's beloved woodland characters surrounding the bold title treatment. The film itself is a poignant coming-of-age story that follows a young deer's journey through loss, growth, and renewal, and is widely celebrated for its artistic innovation, emotional depth, and lasting influence on animated cinema. A restored poster with good color and an overall very presentable appearance. Restoration has addressed some fold wear and paper loss to both the left and right side. Chips have occurred on the right side of poster where the tree meets the white border. Also shows stains, edge wear, and brittleness due to age. Grades on all restored items are pre-restoration grades.
