    Description

Fall Round-Up on the Y-6 Ranch (Cheyenne Feature Film Co., 1911). One Sheet (28" X 41.25").
Remembered as the man who made rodeo famous across the globe, Charles Burton Irwin was a larger than life character that not only pursued life as a rancher and Wild West showman, but also founded the Cheyenne Feature Film Company. Inducted into the Cowboy Hall of Fame in 1905, Irwin's love for the rodeo drove him to share the experience across the country through the traveling Irwin Brothers Wild West Show. Hoping to reach an even wider audience, he then created a handful of Westerns set at his expansive Y-6 ranch, where this particular film takes place. This lovely stone litho poster has had touchup applied to the folds, pinholes in the borders, and small chips with a few tears in the borders and folds. Fine/Very Fine on Linen.

    Estimate: $1,500 - $3,000.
