    Description

    Scarlet Youth (Goodart Pictures, 1928). Heralds (258) (4.5" X 7.25"). Exploitation.
Few melodramas ever filmed in Hollywood outdid the true life story of the beautiful but ill-fated Corliss Palmer. These heralds were printed in 1929 on cardstock, for the Indiana Theatre, in Anderson, Indiana, and never distributed. They have different scenes on each side, and come in two colors, red and yellow. There are 88 red, and approximately 170 yellow heralds Starring Corliss Palmer, Ruth Robinson, Mary Foy, Freeman Wood, David Findlay, Connie La Mont, Alphonse Martell. Directed by William Hughes Curran. Unrestored heralds with bright color and a clean overall appearance. They may have general signs of use, such as slight edge wear wear, a few have small paper lifts, and most have some faint foxing around the outside edges. Please see full-color, enlargeable image below for more details. Very Fine-.
