    Description

No Greater Sin (Alexander International Film, 1941). Folded, Fine/Very Fine. One Sheet (28" X 41"). From the collection of Leonard and Alice Maltin.
This very low budget film was an expose' on the dangers of sexually transmitted disease, and in this instance, primarily among teenagers. It was released without a Production Code Authority seal of approval as it was banned by the Legion of Decency. No doubt this film was distributed in a four-wall campaign and thus several styles of one sheets were probably produced, some more salacious than others. This poster has edge and fold wear, fold separations, pinholes, and some creasing. Also visible are small tears, minor chips, as well as unobtrusive stains and smudges. A few of the pinholes and crossfolds have splices with touchup, and there is a piece of paper tape in the upper right corner, in addition to several pieces of paper and cellophane tape on the verso. Folded, Fine/Very Fine.
