    Description

Love Life of a Gorilla (Jewel Productions, R-1940s). Three Sheet (41" X 80") Reissue Title: Kidnapping Gorillas.
Samuel Cummins holds an infamous place in Hollywood history as being one of the first big proponents of the exploitation genre, seeming to find more and more taboo or scandalous subjects with each new film. Made by splicing together stock footage with scenes from such lurid affairs as Ingagi, Angkor, and possibly a separate film titled Kidnapping Gorillas, this film barely passed by national censorship boards with its "education" genre and a few well-placed fake ferns. Printed in three sections, the poster shows slight toning in the bottom border, some paper remnants in the gorilla's image, and light creasing. Folded, Fine/Very Fine.
