Description
Jailhouse Rock (MGM, 1957). Half Sheet (22" X 28") Style B.A rags-to-riches musical comedy, Jailhouse Rock was made at the height of Elvis Presley's career, prior to his stint in the Army. Posters for his pre-military service films are more highly coveted than any of his other productions, making this half sheet an exceptional find. In its original condition, this popular piece features a giant portrait of "The King," a photo inset of the smoldering Presley embracing lovely leading lady Judy Tyler, and a picture of Elvis striking a signature dance pose next to his guitar. The poster shows only light top edge wear, fold wear, cross fold separation, creasing near the vertical folds, and a minor printing error in the bottom right. Collectors of rock and roll and Elvis memorabilia need look no further--this is the one to own! Folded, Fine/Very Fine.
