Easy Living (Paramount, 1937). Folded, Fine/Very Fine. Three Sheet (41" X 71.5"). From the Mike Kaplan Collection.
This three sheet is being offered for the first time at auction, and is the only known copy. A very funny screwball comedy with a great script by Preston Sturges and starring Jean Arthur, Edward Arnold, and Ray Milland. The song "Easy Living" was composed just for this film by Leo Robin and Ralph Rainger, and has since become a jazz standard first made famous by Billie Holiday, then Ella Fitzgerald. This poster shows signs of usage which include some fold wear and separation, pinholes, small tears, and a couple of minor chips. Also visible are mostly unobtrusive stains and smudges, as well as edge wear. There is a small piece of paper tape in the lower border of the top panel on the front and the verso has several strips of paper tape bracing tears and folds.

    Estimate: $1,500 - $3,000.
