DescriptionEaster Parade (MGM, 1950). Very Fine- on Linen. Italian 4 - Fogli (55" X 78"). Ercole Brini Artwork.
Billed as "The Happiest Musical Ever Made," this charming picture - about a dancer (Fred Astaire) who takes on a new protégé (Judy Garland) and vows to make her a pro by the time of the next Easter parade - won an Oscar for Best Music and was MGM's highest grossing film of 1948. It remains a classic, beloved by a devoted legion of fans. This lovely Italian 4-folio, with artwork by the magnificent Ercole Brini, has received excellent restoration to correct mild fold wear and separations, pinholes, small tears, and slight chips in the borders and folds. Also addressed was some writing bleedthrough, and the green and white borders have been airbrushed. Very Fine- on Linen.
Estimate: $800 - $1,600.
