DescriptionDressed to Kill (Universal, 1946). One Sheet (27" X 41").
Basil Rathbone stars for the last time as Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's famous detective, Sherlock Holmes. Nigel Bruce is Watson, joined by Patricia Morison and Edmund Breon, in this mystery centering on stolen Bank of England printing plates. Posters from the Sherlock Holmes series teaming Rathbone and Bruce are among the most collected in the hobby, and the added bonus for the one sheet format is the sultry image of Morison, wearing fur and wielding a revolver. The poster is in excellent display condition, its only signs of use being light edge wear, slight fold wear and separations, and minor nicks and tears at the edges. There is a bit of mild creasing towards the bottom. Folded, Very Fine+.
Estimate: $1,000 - $2,000.
