    Vigil in the Night (RKO, 1940). Fine. Locally Produced Original Mixed Media Artwork (45" X 52.5"). Drama.
    Offered in this lot is a locally produced artwork for Vigil in the Night featuring the beautiful Carole Lombard in pastels and gouache, which was displayed as locally produced artwork from the Avery Art Display Co. of Massachusetts. This company since 1929, has been the creators of the widely renowned movie marquis' in Boston's popular theater district in the 40's and 50's. Starring Carole Lombard, Brian Aherne, Anne Shirley, Julien Mitchell, Peter Cushing, Robert Coote, Brenda Forbes, Rita Page, and Ethel Griffies. Directed by George Stevens. An unrestored poster with good color and an overall very presentable appearance. It may have edge wear, small holes and chips, paper lifts, surface scuffing and scratches, or staining and smudging. There are a couple of pieces of archival tape bracing a reattached chip in the upper right corner. Due to the size/weight of the item, shipping costs will be higher than usual.
