Treasure of the Sierra Madre (Warner Brothers, 1948). Italian (55" X 78"). Martinati really captures the desperation on Humphrey Bogart's face for this outstanding poster. John Huston created one of the truly classic motion pictures with this film based on a Traven's novel. The epic is the definitive study in greed and what it does to men's souls. There has been repair to a few chips in the borders, minimal color touch-up on the fold lines with a bit more at the middle horizontal section. There is also some color retouching to the green letters of the title. Fine/Very Fine on Linen.
