    Description

Through the Back Door (United Artists, 1921). Half Sheet (22" X 27.5").
By the time this film was made in 1921, Mary Pickford was one of the most famous stars in Hollywood and with that notoriety came power. Enough so that she could ask her younger brother to direct this film with the help of veteran Alfred Green. The film tells the story of an abandoned Belgian girl, who grows up to find her way to America and her real mother. This lovely original half sheet has been lightly folded and has chipping along the length of the right border and lower right corner. There is a minor tear at the fold on the lower and upper border. Folded, Fine/very Fine.
