Description

This Man's Navy (MGM, 1945). Australian Daybill (13" X 30"). Wallace Beery, pilot of a Navy blimp, is also a braggart who goes on and on about the brave exploits of his non-existent son. He befriends a widow and her son (Selena Royle and Tom Drake), and when the son joins the Navy air service and becomes a hero, Beery couldn't be prouder if he really were the boy's dad. Blake Edwards, in the days before he became famous as a director, has a small role as a Navy flier. This Australian daybill has pinholes with tears, light edge wear, and light extra creases at the folds. Gorgeous stone litho artwork of Beery, Drake and Jan Clayton. Very Fine-.
