The Velvet Touch (RKO, 1948). Italian 4 - Foglio (55" X 77").
Rosalind Russell stars as a Broadway leading lady who accidentally kills her producer and former lover (Leon Ames) in this taut film noir. Claire Trevor, Leo Genn, and Sydney Greenstreet also star. Artist Ercole Brini expertly captures the mood of the film on this exceedingly rare Italian 4-foglio, a first time offer from Heritage. The poster has been restored and touchup applied to chips and tears in the bottom border and where the two sections join, a large chip in the bottom right, along the folds and crossfolds, and pinholes in the borders and background. There is faint foxing in the borders, and a stamp in bottom right background. Fine/Very Fine on Linen.
