The Trespasser (United Artists, 1929). Fine+ on Linen. One Sheet (28.25" X 41.25").
Gloria Swanson stars as Marion Donnell, a humble stenographer, who falls in love with and secretly marries Jack Merrick (played by Robert Ames), the wealthy son of a powerful man. However, Jack's domineering father disapproves of the marriage due to Marion's lower social status. Under pressure, Jack annuls the marriage, leaving Marion heartbroken and and expecting a little visitor. Backed to linen, restoration has addressed splits and chips to the borders as well as wear to the folds and a small chip to the right of the boy in the lower area. There has been airbrushing to the left and lower borders, a portion of the white area at lower right and the R at bottom right has been retouched. Thanks to these efforts the poster presents very well.
