    Description

The Toast of New York (RKO, 1937). One Sheet (27" X 41"). Edward Arnold (James 'Jim" Fisk Jr.) is a endearing scoundrel who connives his way into the hierarchy of Wall Street to turn a profit. Based on "Black Friday", one of the worst financial days in U.S. history, the film has a great supporting cast including Cary Grant, Jack Oakie, Frances Farmer, and Donald Meek. The poster has stains on bottom, a repaired border tear, small edge tear, fold separations, several small pieces of cellophane tape on back crossfolds (no bleedthrough), long surface tear on bottom background, and tack holes. This poster has outstanding color saturation. Fine.
