The Divine Woman teams the lauded silent director Victor Sjostrom with the incomparable Greta Garbo in a drama about an impoverished but ambitious woman who goes to Paris to find fame as an actress, only to be torn between the devotions of two very different men. The rare lobby cards offered here feature one image of Garbo in splendid repose and another of her clinking glasses with admirers. Although no complete prints of The Divine Woman are known to exist; a single reel of the eight-reel feature (9 minutes in length) was discovered in a Moscow archive in 1993 and is available on the TCM Garbo Silent collection. The cards are in excellent condition, showing only slight toning at the borders. Very Fine.
