    Description

The Death Dice (Mutual, 1915). One Sheet (28.5" X 42").
Later a popular side actor in the 1940s, appearing in such films as Mr. Smith Goes to Washington and The Adventures of Robin Hood, a much thinner Eugene Pallette here plays a former sheriff attempting to solve a local murder. The film itself takes its name from a chapter of screenwriter and newspaper correspondent George Patullo's 1912 novel The Sheriff of Badger; A Tale of the Southwest Borderland, one of several stories the native Canadian wrote about the American frontier. This lovely stone litho poster has been skillfully restored to address tears and paper loss in the borders and interior, including in the characters. Very Good- on Linen.
